VideoWhat the RSI indicator actually tells you (and what it doesn't)
RSI measures how stretched a recent move is on a 0 to 100 scale. It is useful for timing, useless for prediction, and misread by most beginners.
Technical analysis
A candlestick whose open and close are almost equal, leaving a very small body, which shows indecision between buyers and sellers.
A doji is a candlestick where the open and close are nearly the same price, so the body is a thin line with wicks above and below. It tells you that in that period, buyers pushed price up and sellers pushed it down, but neither won by the close. On its own a doji means indecision, not reversal. Its meaning depends on where it appears. A doji after a long rally in SBI at a known resistance, say ₹820, suggests buyers may be tiring and deserves attention, especially if the next candle closes lower. A doji in the middle of a sideways range means little. Variations include the long-legged doji with big wicks, the dragonfly with a long lower wick, and the gravestone with a long upper wick. Wait for confirmation from the following candle rather than trading the doji alone.

A candle is four prices drawn as one shape. Learn to read the shape first, then five patterns that only mean something at the right place on the chart.
Support and resistance are the prices where the market has changed its mind before. Here is how to find the ones worth marking and how to use them with a stop.
